Partners Behind The Project
Riverside Inverclyde is an Urban Regeneration Company committed to changing the face of Inverclyde with a major regeneration of riverside locations running from Port Glasgow to Greenock.
With £400 million of public/private sector funding, it's a joint partnership between Inverclyde Council, and Scottish Enterprise, with the full support of the Scottish Government.
Clydeport's main business is the management of the River Clyde and the provision of port facilities and services, but it also has extensive landholdings and is increasingly involved in property investment and development.
Clydeport is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Peel Holdings. As a real estate, transport and infrastructure investment company, Peel has assets under management of £6 billion and employs some 5,000 people. Peel Ports Division is the second largest ports group in the UK, operating the ports of Mersey Docks & Harbour Company, Manchester Ship Canal and Medway Ports, as well as Clydeport.
